Dan Collard Encourages Class of 2026 to Stay Curious

Commencement speaker Dan Collard, co-founder of Healthcare Plus Solutions Group, delivered an inspiring message to Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University’s Spring 2026 graduates during the University’s commencement ceremony on May 16.

Encouraging graduates to “stay curious” as they begin the next chapter of their lives and careers, Collard reflected on a moment watching his grandson hold a camera for the first time. He described the sense of wonder and fascination with which the child examined the device and challenged graduates to carry that same spirit of curiosity into their professions and personal lives.

Collard emphasized that curiosity fosters growth, learning and innovation, reminding graduates that some of life’s greatest opportunities come from asking questions, embracing new experiences and remaining open to possibilities.
